Emergency Project in Bangladesh

Due to the sub-tropical monsoon seasons in Bangladesh there are many storms, which causes many complications such as death, severe injury, and damage of property. Recently a severe storm has killed 41 people and injured dozens in Bangladesh leading to thousands of houses being destroyed and power supplies being cut due to the severity of the storm. As further storm is looming, Our team is on the ground with plans to distribute food and non-food items, repair housing and construct temporary shelter.

So far G&E has helped emergency victims of cyclone Sidr and Savar, which was a huge tradegy and aim to help people in different parts of Bangladesh in the future. Also, Goreeb fund was one of the first organization helping Rohingya refugee in Ukhia and Teknaf in Cox bazaar. So far we have spent around £70 on the Rohingya project. We have distributed Family food pack in the Rohingya camp in Teknaf to the starving herds of family.

We provided nurses giving aid to the children’s and elderly with medication. We have built over 200 Tent for the families seeking shelter.
We strive to support those vulnerable people who have lost many, be it storm or in Rohingya and will aid those in the future Insha’Allah until the calamity ends in Rohingya. Also, for future storms we aim to always be there first when the people in Bangladesh required aid.
