Masjid Project in Bangladesh

A mosque is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services. The role of the Masjid is to help people learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development.

By building a mosque you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your sadaqah jariya will continue giving benefit for generations to come Insha’Allah. Last few years of Goreeb & Yateem, you’ve help to build 28 mosques & repair many more. More than 51,100 prayers have been prayed in our mosques and that number is growing every day, Alhamdulillah. You’ve given people the opportunity to pray in comfort and peace, may Allah swt accepts all you beautiful donation and grant you barakah in this duniya & akhirah.

The cost varies depending on the size of the mosque. The smallest medium size mosque with a capacity of 130 to 150 people requires a donation of £10,000, which includes the construction of the full Masjid, a Wudu facilities area and a toilet.
Alhamdulillah in 2020 alone we have constructed 18 Masjid and currently in 2021 we have 20 Masjid under construction in different part of Sylhet, Lalmonirhat, Panchaghar & Magura. Our plans to continue built or repair small Masjid for local villages so that they can perfume their daily salah in comfort and peace.

Please note: Our Masjid project can take up to 9-12 months to complete once the donation has been made. This is due to restrictions of certain locations where construction can be carried out at specific times during the year and the due diligence that must be done on the area.
